I can't figure this out completely, but I think the chorus of this song says it all. "You can’t afford to live like this You can’t be dumb enough to dream so big" people telling them they won't make it. the "yes we can" is their response. and the "casting couches and rug burned knees" line.... about casting couch girls that whore themselves to get the role. and 'rug burned knees' is an obvious sexual reference. I can't quite figure out how it all fits together yet. |
