| I Set My Friends On Fire – Reese's Pieces, I Don't Know Who John Cleese Is? Lyrics | 16 years ago |

"Hangs him, poisons him, and sets him on fire" I don't think thats what he does to the guy cheating on his girlfriend, I think it's what the character in the song does to himself after killing them both. "This wasn't the worst thing that could happen...yes it is." Best thing to do really to maximise the tragedy, having them all die, his slower than he would have liked. But then again thats just what I think :/ |

| Scar Symmetry – The Kaleidoscope God Lyrics | 17 years ago |

im guessing the dreaming tide is some kind of metaphor for the flow of dreaming thought. as for the song itself, it could be interpreted alot of different ways. the chorus "stray into the silence.." i think is some kind of exploration into the deeper soul as opposed to something skin deep "shallow entombment". the kaliedoscope god is a personification of fate, representing the many different, twisted paths of fate through the kaleidoscope's distorted image "fate forms a complex kaleidoscope." scar symmetry have some of the best lyrics i know of, they always seem so deep to me. |
