Ferras – Everybody Bleeds The Same Lyrics 17 years ago
I could be way off target but I didn't see the song as necessarily being about war at all. I mean it could certainly fit that type of atmosphere and situation but I think he was aiming for something different. I think he's talking about how we as humans view others who are different from us and sometimes immediately and irrationally fear someone because they are different from us.

"I am you and you are me...If you break it down to the DNA" - I think this part is brilliant. He's just saying that we can be completely different on the outside, come from different places, worship differently, have different beliefs, values, morals, etc, but we're really all the same on some level, we all go through the same types of problems and go through similar experiences; essentially-figuratively and literally-we all bleed the same.

I think this song is kind of his little way of telling people that we need not be afraid of someone because they seem to be different from us; we need to get past any preconceived ideas we have about someone, any stereotypes and judgements we hold against someone before we get to know them. We just need to give people a chance to show their true colors.

But yeah, I could be way off, that's just what I got from the song...either way, I think as a whole, it's a pretty brilliant piece of work.
