This song is profound. Its meaning is seriously obvious. I'm not sure what Kimya went through as a child or where exactly this song comes from but I do need to say something about social workers. Social workers work hard. Yes, there are some burned out workers but most have the biggest of hearts and best intentions. Social work is difficult. Social workers are not oblivious to problems! Problems are their job. It is easy to think social worker and associate it with a person taking your child away. In actuality, this process, if enough evidence of abuse or neglect is found, is extremely difficult! Like everything else in this world, professions, people, race, culture, politics, they all have attached stigmas. Lets think outside the box. |
