Fantastic song, not German myself, but I know a bit, that verse goes Null Null Null Halt die Stelle, Halt die Stelle (Stop/stay put) Ein Zehn Ralf will was von ihm (Ralf wants that from him) Ein Zwei Drei Vergessen Sie ihren Hut heute nicht (Don't forget your hat today) Drei Vier Funf Und fahren Sie mit uns in ihre Zukunft (Ride/Drive with us into the future) Jetzt, Sechs Zieben Acht Wer hattet das gedacht? (Who thought of that?) Neun Zehn (After this it's a little hard to understand) Koch, Tante Ute aus den Revue (Cook, Aunt Ute from the revue) Looking at at another site it said Oh Kurt hatte Uta aus der Revue (oh, Kurt had Uta from the revue) Then (something) kleiner Hund mit keinen Nerz (Small dog with no fur) Null Null Null Halte die Stelle (Stop) Hallo Bonbon (Hello, candy) Confusing, though its not really supposed to make sense |

Gossiping, high school. Think the "cold war" represents high school/high school drama. |

| Blur – Magic America Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| One of Blur's better songs, cynical and dreary. Think it's about everyone's plan "B", to go to a, frankly, magical haven, which is, in reality, just as bad as their own country behind a fresh, new image. | |
| Jay Reatard – Blood Visions Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| This deserves more comments; I love this song. As far as the meaning goes, I'm not entirely sure, but I doubt it's meant to have one in the first place. | |
| Pink Floyd – The Trial Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| This song is, in my opinion, the self-trial of Pink, from Pink Floyd's "The Wall" (Movie, not album). The judge, and prosecutor, who speaks up until "Call the Schoolmaster", are figments of Pink's wall, but every witness is a major factor in his life. His schoolmaster, who wanted to use him as meat to grind, his (ex-)wife, who, unlike Syd's wife, gave up on him when he did not open up to her, and his mother, who was the only one who had any concern, but who mostly wanted him to (over)protect and watch again. Pink's punishment is anything but- his "Wall" of alienation is torn down, and he is returned to reality, as opposed to his lonely fantasy world. | |
| War – Low Rider Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| 6stringfury pretty much summed it up- it's about the low riding that was happening around California, which really wasn't as bad as the ghost riding happening today. This song didn't spark the trend, but it went along with it (obviously). | |
| The Who – Pinball Wizard Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| By far my favorite Who song- this probably isn't the intended meaning, but I believe it's about how everyone has some innate talent, regardless of how pointless it is. | |
