| I love this song! I don't care if it's different, I'm just glad they're still making music and not giving a damn about who likes it or not. If you watch the making of the music video they explain that it's about surrendering to the chaos that is around you. They said it's not giving up but more accepting what's going to happen. | |

to me this song is about a guy whos having a tough time with his girlfriend. he doesnt want pity "And I don't want you to feel sorry for me" but he wants her to give him another chance "You never gave us a chance to be" he obviously wants the truth about why she is being distant. hence the "I just wanted you to tell me the truth" & the "why are you running away" he was the one doing the major commitment to the relationship and he was alway there to help her. "'Cause I did enough to show you that I Was willing to give and sacrifice And I was the one who was lifting you up When you thought your life had had enough" he also doesnt understand if its something he did or she did but he knows he cant do anything about it "Is it me?
