This is some of Yoni's best lyrics, I think. Especially the last part of the second section: Or turned up top lip, no cut throat, kickin' kid's sandcastles spit and, "fuck you" talk. Because in the end, that's what fights are all about. Somebody gets hurt over nothing (like a busted sandcastle), and you're so pissed you don't know what to say "with your mouth fat on your own words", so all you can do is spit and tell your assailant to fuck himself. So true. |

A friend of mine told me that the whistles you hear throughout the song are actually women screaming, and as I listen to it more I'm becoming convinced that it's true. Does anybody have thoughts on this? Or maybe a bit of truth can be shed? |
