This song makes me think of my exboyfriend. He said the break up was best for both of us but all it did was break my heart and it continues to get worse. He now hangs out with all the people I used to hang with and no I've got no one left. "I used to be among the crowd you're in with" Also, he sometimes will tell me that is having me over for dinner the next day. One time I asked him why he makes plans for me to hang out with him without really asking me if I want to and he said so I wasn't sitting at home alone depressed.. I really want him to hear this line now: Yes, I wish that for just one time You could stand inside my shoes You'd know what a drag it is To see you This song really just sums up how I feel. I know this is not what it really means but it is what it means to me! He thinks it's a priviledge for me to see him, but it just makes me feel sick to my stomach. |

As it was in the beginning (One Love) So shall it be in the end (One Heart) I am not very religious (agnostic I would say if I really had to classify myself), but these lines are so amazing. And as for agnostic meaning "without knowledge," I think that maybe makes sense in reference to religion.. many agnostics classify themselves that way because they choose not to believe in a higher power without proof (i.e. knowledge). I'm fine with that. People may twist it into something negative but that's their problem, ONE LOVE! |
