I love this song...especially the acoustic version. You build someone up so much before you get to know them, or build them up on a person they used to be. Then you get to know them, and they're not what you built them up to be...what you wanted. |

I can't believe no one has commented on this one yet! I think it's basically about fighting for what you want. He's asking someone why they just let him/herself be walked all over and letting someone control them. Then on the flip side, he is fighting for what he wants and he won't "let them take". Then time is running out and you can either stay living a life you hate...or fight and run to a life more desirable. |
