The song is definitely about companionship and turbulent relationships. I don't think it's about just friends, though, especially considering the lines "Though I’m used to have you here It's doesn’t change the man I was When you found me" He is addressing a specific person whom he is accustomed to having constantly at his side. I suppose it could be interpreted as dealing with friends, I think there is a more intimate component to this song that reminds me of "Breakdown". I think the point is that there is a troubled, complex relationship and he is accusing the other party of not being the friend he/she/they should be. It is a little open-ended though, and the mood is unambiguous. |
