The first line of the song is "Don't you dare say that you weren't warned". Whenever somebody falls in love, they might say that colors seem brighter and food tastes better. The man is so out of love that he doesn't even taste food anymore. The next line goes on to say that he no longer has a heart. The only reason he still eats is simply to live. The only reason he doesn't leave the woman is because he doesnt want to live alone. The woman, on the other hand, lives to eat; she is still deeply in love with him. Even though she has been warned that the end is coming, she refuses to give up on him because she doesnt want to lose him. |
