| This song means that he found it, what we all look for, a real feeling of passionate love on every level for someone and it can only be explained if she was indeed his soul mate. For whatever reason, they cannot be together but that does not mean that the thoughts or the love he feels for her ever stops. Sadly for them, it is an impossible love and he knows it. In a desperate attempt to be with her, he suggests taking a trip far away from the reality that keeps them apart but she won’t go. He desperately wants her to know that what he feels is real. He wants her to know that she is tattooed in his brain. He wants her to know that he wants her by his side when times are hard wondering why it can’t be in her arms, close to her heart, that he finds refuge in his dark times. He wants to offer her the same support, that she may find refuge in his arms, close to his heart at well. He has all these good wishes for her. He wants her to know that he desires not only her body but also her soul.
