And he's probably talking about Reagan because the change for blacks began under Reagan.
You make some good points, Obama is indeed not the great saviour people think, but get the fuck off the Reagan bandwagon. You know Reagan denied AIDS for years and contributed to many false and harmful assumptions about the AIDs epidemic, actually making things worse? His "cure" support was just to save face after everyone realized the truth. His entire foreign policy has shaped the xenophobia and rolled back the clock for race relations decades. |
