It seems to me that he's simply referring to death. Living is dying. It's no wonder any human being can relate to this song. :) Perhaps coming to peace with death is not so bad after all, and perhaps living just to live isn't so good after all either. Zhuangzi asked: how do I know that I am happy and that the skull of a dead human is unhappy? |
