This is basically telling the girl that they don't have much time to spend with each other and he's trying to make that limited time with her count. I just listened to this a couple of minutes ago and I instantly got WOWed by it. I can identify with every word of this song. Un-fucking-real. |

I can't believe it took more than three years to set the record straight about the people who were involved in making this song. Sing_It_Back got it down. Anyway, great song. I always feel alot better after I listen to this song. |

I'm pretty sure that this song is about sex, possibly even rape. He calls the girl Cottonmouth. "Out go the lights and she's so helpless, like an animal with all of its legs broke. " -Maybe he tied the girl up, pinned her down or just robs her of the ability to struggle. He turns off the lights because...yeah...sex. "I'll give you everything that you want just once it's been done, you can't go back." -Pretty self-explanatory. He says that he'll give the girl anything for some sexytime, like most desperate men do. "Wont' you let me have my way with you, cottonmouth?" -Quite obvious. "It comes in waves like I'm in then I'm out, but she arches and I come to. She says if I take a look in your eyes, I'm a dear in headlights, I'm paralyzed." -He describes his "method" of sex and how the girl arches forward when he comes. For some reason, she jokingly says that he will get paralyzed when he looks into her eyes. I don't know how I can connect the rest of the song but I'm pretty sure that this song is about sex. |
