The chorus was kind of redundant, had it been spliced a bit less, this song can easily become anyone's favorite. Speaking for myself, it's one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded. |

I love to think of a video of this song with Kathryn singing on piano alone at a beach where the weather is kind of stormy (raining and very windy). She'll be wearing a sheer white gown with the enigmatic blank look in her eyes. Well, many will probably disagree with me. But I think of this song as something of a song you sing to yourself when you are in the phase of your life trying to move on to something else, like kicking a drug habit ("I knew that I was trapped On those rocks.") or a failing relationship ("And your eyes just kept turning away / And there was nothing more to say.") I'll be happy to know this song's meaning to you as well. |
