they cant have anything to do with this song anymore which sucks (no live performances, ect.). Reason being is that the owner of the song they sampled sued them and got all the rights to it. bummer. |

agreed. i dont want to get into hipster mode and discuss what someone was thinking about at any particular moment in time but his writing styles do leave everything up to interpretation. he is just quoted as saying what i originally posted. i shouldve put that in the original comment i guess. |

yo mrcoolio, "Nothing But Sunshine" is a story, not an autobiography. A lot of people think that though. Slug's pops was still alive when that was released. And the piano was sampled from the chorus of "Susan's House" by the Eels. |

DSp8s, do your research. When i saw them live thats how slug introduced the song, also i saw an interview w/ him talking about the metaphors on the album, that being one and "The Skinny" not being about a pimp, but about cigarettes. lol insulting interpretations (correct ones at that) is funny |
