This song means so much to me. It was the last song they played at my sister's funeral when i was very young and to me the song is more about someone who is almost god given hence the "angel's got together" and has been taken away from you hence why you want to be "close to" it. She was a popular and fun-loving girl and that's why "all the girls in town" followed her "all around." That's what I think it means anyway...and it always brings me to tears. Always imagined it was a song about a girl. |

Its an amazing song! I loved it the first time i listened to it however one thing about these lyrics - it's THIRTY DEAD AND ONE TEENAGE GUNMAN not EIGHTY! as it is a direct link between the Virginia Tech masacre where 33 people died. I think this is quite interesting too because the Feeling were actually in Virginia on the day of the shooting! The song kind of reminds me in a way of when your sitting on an aeroplane home and wondering if you'll come back to everything as you left it but thats probably just me x |
