I think pete doherty is a genius! He sings about the tabloid and how journalist don't understand his art or how he's shown by the medias has a junkie who's completly lost and want to see him in a cage (killamangiro). but He also refers to the libertines when he says "And there was hope, but not for us together My friend, my only friend "And with mother fucking song he might have related the tabloid and the libs' song . His lyrics are really complex and even if I prefer the libs I can apreciate the babyshambles' work. Stix and stones is an amazing song and it shows his real feelings, about what the press says about him ,using the most brilliant english author's quote.(shakespeare) he's fucking brilliant ....even if he's on drugs they all are.. |
