Its generally about the girls growing and maturing to realize that they have taken things for granted, have done things they shouldn’t have against their better judgment because they were too young, adventurous and mischievous. That is how I feel about my life and perhaps that is why this is my take on the lyrics. When Lena sings her parts she tells me how she/they took things for granted. Now in retrospect they know the things they had and experienced were one of a kind, special, privilege. And they are sorry they didn’t realize it at the time. They are sorry they let themselves down. They are not apologizing to anyone in particular. Perhaps they are singing to angel/guardian angel/the voice of reason in their head which they didn’t listen to and let themselves down. It’s a song that every growing teen can relate to, because we all go through these same phases. Why in Japanese? Their ‘sorry’ sounds beautiful and falls into the song well. And why not? Bilingual songs are not a strange thing and this isn’t the first. |

| Dishwalla – Counting Blue Cars Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I cant put together a story, but here are some ideas. 1. Skippingcracks in the street is something all kids in the world do and counting cars is something parents play to occupy their kids while on a long trip in a car or sitting at home sick and cant go out. He does mention they are on their way some place. 2. What I dont understand is where they arrive. Some public place with lenolium or some hard floor, like hospital? ummm...airport... :o) could be a lot of places really. 3 i just assume the journey is long and so they talk about anything and everything. |

| Dishwalla – Moisture Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I agree that this song is about an unsuccessful relationship. The reason I think so is. 1. He is talking about taking water from his well and he cries out for moisture. Its safe to assume that water and moisture represent life. The lady in question sucked life out of him so to speak. 2. Most likely she used him, because he says “Why did you take And drag me through your hell” 3. No intention of living this way, no intention of living |
