This song really exposes Trent's condition, even after everything he has done, after all sick twisted sin and choices to fall from God, his blunt middle finger pointed at God, he has not committed any unpardonable sin, he was once a follower of God, and he can still feel him tugging at his spirit. He doesn't understand how, even though he curses God and curses the thought of God ever taking him back, he still feels him. Is hope lost, or does the sheer fact that he still feels God prove that Gos wants trent to himself.. In my opinion, hope is not lost for even Trent Reznor, God is waiting with a bag of the blood of Christ... He who takes away the sin of the world. Trent can me saved. It burns in his mind, even though he has made the choice and sings about taking his place in the great below, and that it is his destiny, maybe there is something else out there. Maybe God isn't through with him. When does eternal grace run out? |

this song is... wow. don't cut this pig-- probably referring to the fact that the kid does pig squealing - a type of scream that's used in this silly genre. don't hate or cut on this pig squealing emo fag. it's really funny how serious this band is in interviews. they are like, "this is my music, it's real lyrics and we aren't doing this to be funny, but to have fun." they probably get so much shit for doing this kind of music, but did they really expect to not get pissed on by everyone for getting famous for mixing 2 genres of shitty pop music that definitely don't belong together? honestly.. i can't believe they are playing at bamboozle. |

I really liked what river1 and suic1d3 had to say - really insightful.. to me this song is very spiritual and brought to the surface childhood experiences i had in the dark, thinking about how big the world is, and if there is another realm out there operating at the same time. so.. back to times in my room as a young kid, and i would see this spiral of electricity. moving after images. almost like it was drawing my soul or spirit out into the void of something much greater than i was. this song would be the artistic expression of these experiences that climaxed in my teen years. i would press in deeper in this void and have seen shit that you wouldn't believe if i told you. the phrase in the song i would like to expound on is "they will suck you down to the other side, shadows blue and red" it is a scientific fact that when you gaze into the void blackness, small pixilated images appear. you can see them with your eyes open in a completely pitch black room. these are called afterimages. similar to what you would see if you glanced at the sun and shut your eyes - you would see a reverse negative circle that would be a blue/purple/red colour. shadows blue and red.. to any one looking for these with a clear mind, they are just scattered and meaningless. it is my own belief that many people have had this intimate experience on multiple occasions... and that if you could read the stories of these experiences, they would reflect whether the person has a lot of evil and is connected with the occult or if the person has a desire for goodness and is curious about the 'light' side of the supernatural. now whether or not thom wrote the song about the same tunnel or portal into the spiritual realm.. uhh.. i dunno. <3 this song! |

welcome to my world. to me this song has been the most impressionable piece from muse. to me this song is very spiritual and brought to the surface childhood experiences i had in the dark, thinking about how big the world is, and if there is another realm out there operating at the same time. the phrase in the song i would like to expound on is "space dementia in your eyes" it is a scientific fact that when you gaze into the void blackness, small pixilated images appear. you can see them with your eyes open in a completely pitch black room. these are called afterimages. similar to what you would see if you glanced at the sun and shut your eyes - you would see a reverse negative circle that would be a blue/purple colour. to any one looking for these with a clear mind, they are just scattered and meaningless. it is my own belief that many people have had this intimate experience on multiple occasions... and that if you could read the stories of these experiences, they would reflect whether the person has a lot of evil and is connected with the occult or if the person has a desire for goodness and is curious about the 'light' side of the supernatural. When I first heard this song, i immediately went back to times in my room as a young kid, and i would see this spiral of electricity. moving after images. almost like it was drawing my soul or spirit out into the void of something much greater than i was. this song would be the artistic expression of these experiences that climaxed in my teen years. i would press in deeper in this void and have seen shit that you wouldn't believe if i told you. i thought that all this was a load of baloney until i started to meet people that knew what i was talking about and had seen the same stuff and even some scary shit... now whether or not matthew bellamy wrote the song about the same tunnel or portal into the spiritual realm.. if anybody knows what the hell i'm talking about... feel free to contact me... or if you think im a fucking psycho, thats awesome... would love to talk. |
