well i dunno, i see it as something like the friends with benefits thing, when he says "why'd you sing hallejuah/if it means nothing to ya" i think that is about one of the participants thinking that the relationship is more than the other one thinks. but also, i can see the part about kissing alone because it is delicate in any relationship, because i definitely would say that it would be less enjoyable to kiss in front of people than to kiss alone. but it is definitely a pretty song and i definitely think that it is about thinking it is a standard story of one person thinking that a relationship is more than the other one does. |
