i used to make my ex listen to this song. cause we broke up after 5 months, and i blocked him out of my life, we didnt talk for 3 months cause he decided to lie, and accuse me of everything. we got back together, lasted a month, and then broke up because he continued with his lies. now we dont talk, again. haha. wed fight till 2 am sometimes, which its rlly ironic, and hed always say things like im letting him down, and id sya we fight too much, and hed say hes tired of it. this whole song just reminds me of it all. haha. |

its keepsake summers i think.. they just renamed it because keepsake summer broke up, and mayday joined together.. (keepsake summer is some of the band members old band before they combined with a different broken up band. haha) |

| mayday parade always states in their interviews that most of their songs have to do with relationships back home, and how they have to leave the ones they love. so, to me, this song means that they both know they wont see each other for along time, so they spend one more night (having sex) with each other, and trying to be happy, but they both know they wont see each other. and the girl isn't committing suicide, her hearts breaking "keep breathing, my angel, if you go down, ill go with you". when your heart breaks, it gets really hard to breathe. at the end, they're obv. getting drunk trying to get over it. "lets drink to memories we've shared..". whatever you guys think the real meaning is, its still a powerful, well written song. i can relate... | |
