Very much in love with this song, and came here looking for an explanation of it but didnt really see anything, so i decided to have a go. I see it as somebody who's hurt(emotionally) to the point where they don't want to shoot for their goals anymore. Collisions hurt and abrasions bleed It’s hard to deal when all you do is feel I see this as being hurt and not having motivation because all you do is dwell on the problem. Calico cats and calico dreams That ain’t too real Just make it real I think this part is relatively obvious, but i could be wrong. The calico cats part may be just to keep rhythm but could also be to signify variety. We live our lives going about the same routines every day, hence the "that aint too real" when we could be chasing our dreams if we put forth a little effort. Just my little interpretation, could be way off but its a good way to get started. |
