| Heaven Shall Burn – Dying In Silence Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I think this song is about people in general being used by their governments as a workforce or army to fight and barter for their own selfish gains. Their own power. We are lead blindly to believe we want all these things and the fight is therefore worth taking part in. All the while we are slowly "dying in silence", not allowed to have any say in the real actions being undertaken behind closed doors. Essentially the we are pawns in the governments path to domination, without knowing it. Btw, these lyrics are slightly...wrong. There should be certain parts repeated, and well, other parts are just not the right words. |

| In Flames – Sober and Irrelevant Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I don't get it! You alwasy hear poepel saying how some certain bands music all soudns the same, and they're boring. ANd then you get a band who evolves their sound as their inspirations and motivatiosn for writing music evolve with them, and the fans begin complaining about how they don't sound like they used. Shut the fuck up!!! I'd rather a band evolve with their inspiration, and write about real stuff, than a band who changes their sound because of a mass movement *coughgreendaycough*, and decide they can make some money from it. All those faggots complaining about the way a Clayman was the last good album, why don't you go and dig a hole with a CD player and Clayman album, and just die their together. |

| Yeah, Black Light Burns is the freaking shit!!! | |
| Alexisonfire – No Transitory Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I think this is has some deeper meaning, but on the surface I gained from this song the simple fact that, we always just say that we'll do it tomorrow, when we refer to our dreams and aspirations. We continue to put them off and procrastinate. We as people take life for granted, and simply dont understand how precious our time on Earth is. The song nears the end with "but this time there's no tomorrow" Which, I just think is saying that soon there won't be a tomorrow for us to pursue our dreams and aspirations, leaving us at a point where we have wasted precious time and chances to do the things we want. :/ Well, that's what i think anyway. |

| Panic! at the Disco – Nine In The Afternoon Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I think saying that this album is un-panicky....is incredibly stupid. I mean, I understand what you're TRYING to say, but this is only their second album. How can anybody really say what "sound" they have. We haven't even seen enough of them to produce any patterns or trends yet. I think the first album had an awesome air of mystery and controversy. It was so well written in a 1920s gangsta sorta way. And now the new album is just as well written, but in a more retro, Beatles kinda, theatre sorta way. lol That's a teribly broad description, but I think people will understand what I'm trying to say. I think they're a great band, and will have loads more awesomeness to offer. This song is quite obviously about the unfamiliar, yet amazing feeling of love. As normally written in such an esquisite fashion! |

| DevilDriver – Clouds Over California Lyrics | 17 years ago |

This song is so good. The double bass drum rhythm is so much more wholesome and evolved. It shows that they actually have rhythm and skill. Dez's demonic vocals is a lot more sophisticated that most. Ironic as it may sound. And the guitar-work is so melodic and edgy. Awesome composition! I don't think this song is about the "demise of friendship" as Sonic Raider said, or about a degrading social standard in California. Devildriver's more sinister approach makes me think that their songs don't convey any moral meaning, or any lessons to be learned as most people wish to interpret. I'm think they're, giving out the message for the youth of California to follow the word of the fallen angel, and to spread the chaos throughout society. That's just my opinion anyway. |

| Rise Against – Collapse (Post-Amerika) Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Oh my fucking gosh!!! The little teenie bopping faggots, who sit on the net all day, acting like they're making a difference, and put on as if they're the ones seeking out the truth...shut the fuck up! You're using words like, "your MAIN STREAM media" and "political propaganda". You're using these new words as if they're the fucking answer to all the worlds screw ups. It's like you think you're all wise and preachy. Nobody gives a shit about your lessons on what the government is doing. it's old news. Propaganda has been a way of life for centuries. We all know the government of pretty much every country is full of corruption, and the "main stream", as you non-conformists, like to act like you're avoiding, even though everything you stand for has been created by them, has been around for ever, and is everywhere. You can't avoid it. And just think, if tehre was no "mainstream", what would you pussies be not-conforming to? So shut your trap and keep the political activist bullshit to the real activists. Yeah? |

| Rise Against – Collapse (Post-Amerika) Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Umm, I think you're all wrong. You people seem to be saying, "we", as in, the whole world. Sure, we've all got our issues, but part of the title of this song is, (Post Amerika), and umm, I'm pretty sure he is referring to America's fuck ups. :P But yes, "our mistakes". Sure. i'll go with it. |

| UB40 – The Earth Dies Screaming Lyrics | 17 years ago |

This page seems to be slightly dormant. This song is eerily peaceful. I think at the time this song was written, the end did seem nigh. Things always seem to progress, but then along with it so does further threats. I like this song. Relaxes me. |

| Enter Shikari – We Can Breathe In Space, They Just Don't Want Us To Escape Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I'm pretty sure, this song is about striving for what you believe in, despite the fact that so many people tell you that you can't do it. All this mumble jumble about conspiracies....I think you need to go into this a bit more. Gosh! lol Sorry, just going through final year of high school, English has apparently taken it's final effects on my song interpretation. Haha! |

| Static-X – Control It Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I know most people who are into Static X are likely to be all round metal heads, and not in the least bit open minded about music...eventhough they'll stick to the fact that they are, but anyway...I foudn that you can do the melbourne shuffle hardcore style to this song, and it's actually freaking awesome!! I think I just discovered a link between industrial metal and rave/hardstyle!! Wooot! |

| Millencolin – brand new game Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Nobody has bothered to comment on what this song is about so I will. I think he is just taking a little walk down memory lane through his memories of Millencolin. With all the references to old Millencolin songs and the rhetorical questions, he is sorta looking back and analysing the path that the band has taken. Maybe also highlights for him personally. He is brining up the questions some of those songs asked about himself as a person, and he seems to be rephrasing those questions for himself, to see if he has figured anything out since. once again assessing his growth as a person, along with the band. That's what i think anyway. Was anybody at the concert that played like two weeks ago at the Roundhouse, UNSW? That was the best damn concert ever!!!!! They played a variety of new and old songs. The energy was amazing!!!! No Cigar, Penguins and Polarbears, Cash or Clash, Bullion, Detox, Machine 15, and a few others that aren't coming to mind at the moment. lol |

| Millencolin – Biftek Supernova Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Yeah okay, that whole "Biffen" thing sounds pretty damn stupid. I think someone is pulling the woll over your eyes. I've kinda gathered that the majority of Millencolin songs, especially the newer ones, are about Nicola. He seems to be talking in metaphors about himself and his own life. Here he is kinda saying that even though Millencolin has been out for a while, and being their front-man, he wants people to knwo that he is only just getting started, and Millencolin is nowhere near the end of their reign. They still have loads of music to offer the world. |
