I feel I can really relate to this song. I think the ghost line is him saying she shouldn't come to close or talk to him because he's dead as a result of her betrayal. So him and the band are going to go get trashed, and stir up some trouble to make him forget. |

I interpret this song as a struggle between a couple, one of said couple is an addict, hence the line, "And I remember that evening, you on the floor, I was attached to the ceiling." Which to me says, I was so high, while you layed sober "Look behind, the glass in your mouth, is what I am due for." I look back at what I've done, the hurtful things you've said, is what I deserve. And the rest of the song goes on to say. Well be together forever, regardless of what happens or what vies towards destroying us. |
