I agree with the break up and getting back together meaning... and it seems like she may have lied to him about something "You'll be coming clean tonight". this might be my favorite Saosin song, and fyi, I started off listening to the full album, so I think the new version rocks, but all of them are really good |

A really good song, and I agree, that it seems to be about running away, but being led back to the same place all the time... I have to say that Geoff Rickly is my hero... the man is a lyrical genius and he has inspired me to write song lyrics of my own... which fail compared to his, but I think they are pretty good haha |

Geoff is my hero. He writes the most amazing songs of anyone I've ever heard. Well him and Dustin Kensrue of Thrice. They are amazing songwriters. This is one of my favorite Thursday tunes. They are just the best band and I agree, most of their stuff isn't special the first listen, but after you get to three or more, you really learn to appreciate it's beauty. I was never a huge fan of them, I always liked Thursday, but the past few weeks have found me obsessed with them. I can't stop listening. |

First off, this is my absolute favorite Thursday song.
I agree that it seems to be either about a broken relationship, or one that ended with the death of a loved one. No matter what it is, it's the best song out there, and I love it. |

This song is definitely about a relationship ending and him hating the girl afterwards.
In a way it's a lot how I feel after my ex-gf told me she had been cheating on me for a while.
I thought we had something special and wonderful, but all the time it was all a lie. So...
"I'm not wishing anymore, I'm not writing songs for you."
