no. shaant's agnostic (as am i, just fyi so you understand my thoughts on this song). it just fits in with the 'theme' of the song. like, all these religious nuts (no offense) are trying to prove that it's wrong if we don't believe that god is the only way. and the part: 'is morality real to me?/i cannot believe in what i cannot see/oh no, i will not be sold/the world has this ability to make a life look sweet/oh no, this can't be complete' i think shaant's saying that, "hey i can't see god. so how do we believe in something we can't see? the world's way of conforming people and etc." or something along those lines. and people will try to bring you down because you don't believe the same as them..and we should just live. |

i think if you really read these lyrics and listen to the song, it actually has a deep meaning. i mean, shaant could be talking about his past and how he's overcome it with "practice" and such. and how he thinks his mother would rather have a son who was different. or something along those lines, i dunno. i think the last two lines are: sit back to sit, you instist you're ahead sit back to sit, yeah that's where i can feel it i'm not totally sure but it's what it sounds like to me. |
