AHA Its not about that, Well not if you actually think. Its probably about a relationship that broke up and have had so many arguments that now they have led to this. This song to me is about someone who has wanted to go somewhere in their life. "I gave up everything for fame" Shows how much this person wanted fame. The person who wrote this obviously knew they were going to be famous, and they aren't big headed when they say things like "You are down on your knees Begging me for more" Its true tbh. This song reminds me so much of my life. |

Well this song is one of his most meaningful songs. I heard Tom on tour tell everyone what its about. Its basically about how he would want to make a world for his love ones and the people who would do anything for. "If I had my own world I'd build you an empire From here to the farlands To spread love like violence" Meaing, if he built his own wold, he would give someonepart of his, and a major part, and he would spread the love he feels with them in stead of violence, also that he would want to protect them as in this world theres a lot of violence. In his world he would exchange it for love. Its an overall amazing song if you know what Tom is saying deep down. |
