| you're missing a line, babe. in the first verse after "please allow me to be succinct" it should say "i wanna love you whilst we both still have flesh upon our bones". which happens to be my favorite line in the whole song! when i was reading through these lyrics i thought i was delusional and had just imagined it was there! haha :) | |

3rd line of 1st verse: I wrote this letter to you my dear 2nd line of 2nd verse (not chorus): today's the day i go up in flames I love this song. it speaks to me. it reminds me of a past relationship of mine, with a guy i had liked for a really long time (i say baby, babe, I've loved you a long time), and we were together for a while, but it ended up not working out. it ended peacefully though (i grow happy knowing that you're all right). and something about the line "today's the day i go up in flames" just really strikes me. truly a brilliant song, and a brilliant band as well. |
