Celtic Woman – Siúil a Rún (Walk My Love) Lyrics 16 years ago
Not at all.

Come, come, come, O love,
Quickly come to me, softly move;
Come to the door, and away we'll flee,
And safe for (me) may my darling be!

As you said, a beautiful song.

CeeLo Green – Kung Fu Fighting Lyrics 16 years ago
I just recently got this song after watching it's hit, Kung Fu Panda. The song reflects the spirit of the movie very well; it's a light hearted comedy that makes everything feel at peace, yet motivated to do anything. While it holds the same potential that Carl Douglas' hit made, the lighter and brighter lyrics seem to make it something to smile for, instead of work to.
I like it.

Mark Schultz – letters from war Lyrics 16 years ago
I can't really relate to this song at all, because I don't personally have anyone directly related to me or as a friend in the military, but many of my friends know someone or have their own family members abroad or at their respective forts. I've heard their stories, seen their tears, and helped place ribbons with them. They know the risks of their family and friends being in the military, and being home to hope for them is frankly all some people can do. I might not relate to this song, but I really understand those who do.

Rickie Lee Jones – On Saturday Afternoons In 1963 Lyrics 16 years ago
I first heard this song in the end of an episode of House. I instantly grabbed my laptop and looked up the song. It has a really great feeling to it; a sense of bitter resignation to something. I have since gotten this song for myself and listened to it probably every day.

Steve Perry – Oh Sherrie Lyrics 16 years ago
I just recently found Perry's album with this and several other great songs. Listening to it brings back plenty of memories. I've always thought that this song meant that a boyfriend was being a real pain to his girlfriend (Sherrie), and yet she stayed with him, even when he thought she should leave because of him.
Yup, great song.

Alan Jackson – Small Town Southern Man Lyrics 16 years ago
I love this song. I was born and raised in a small town, but far up north (Alaska).
The pride and feeling of togetherness of an average family that lived their life how many dream of simply pours out of the song. It goes right along the line of "drive", another song he plays about a family and the small things that make it blissful.

Patty Griffin – Rain Lyrics 17 years ago
THis is a great song, that I only just understood in a more meaningful way than I had before. Call it an epiphany, or whatever.
The meaning that "rows and rows of big dark clouds" could simply be actions or speech taken against the person, and "I'm still alive underneath this shroud" is the person reassuring their friends that their is still some spirit in the shell they live in. This relates to how a friend of mine is living, in which she is afraid to talk back, or defend herself, but wants me to know that she is still there, and doesn't want to be given up on.
..But that's just me.
Overall, wonderful song that makes me think.

Boys Like Girls – Thunder Lyrics 17 years ago
Originally, I had heard some of Boys like girls, (the Great Escape, etc) and liked them. So when my brother showed me their new song, I was reasonably interested. I was surprised to see what a great job they did making a song both deep and meaningful, along with fun and imaginative.
...But I basically like it because I like thunderstorms. Go figure.

Sawyer Brown – The Race Is On Lyrics 17 years ago
I always thought that this song was refraining to being in love with someone, who breaks it off and gets married with someone else, leaving him bittersweet. He's feeling terrible about losing her, and yet the race is on for another to get her heart. However, "the winner loses all" would mean that the person who married her became miserable. His heart is no longer in the race, because she dumped him.

Toby Keith – Country Comes To Town Lyrics 17 years ago
self explanatory, but nevertheless, here's the story:
Busy week, hectic for guy & girl, but when weekend comes, the country hick part comes out of them, for a party.
"You better be ready when the sun goes down, that's when country comes to town."
