I loved the melodic chime, and the latin guitar break, didn't know about the dry gravel voice, but it had a pulse- just. My friends called them pretendersre but I was hooked. The lyrics are a waste of time- mostly - which only makes the parts which shine through really stand out. In this song, I think it's "Is this a taste of victory" , the only part of. the song where the vocal melody rises from the gutter |
