| Eminem – You're Never Over Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
This is a great song undoubtedly and a touching tribute to his best friend, but I'm bothered by one aspect. The line "excuse the corny metaphor, but they'll never 'ketchup' to all this energy that I've 'mustard.'" That's not a metaphor. It's a pun :-( |

| Morrissey – Teenage Dad On His Estate Lyrics | 16 years ago |

This song is so crazy to me...I myself am a teenage dad...The lyrics pertaining to that end at the title. The crazy, shocking part for me is that the mom's last name is Jensen. I love Morrissey. |

| Stone Temple Pilots – Church On Tuesday Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I love this song. And I love "No.4"...And "Shangri La-Dee-Da" had more great songs than "Days of the Week" & "Hollywood Bitch." "Wonderful" is an amazing track, as is "Transmissions from a Lonely Room" & "Too Cool Queenie." Also, "A Song for Sleeping" was a beautiful track. "No.4" may have promised a harder sound, but take it for what it is rather than what it was supposed to be. It's a great album, repetitive at times yes...But great, none the less. Every track is gold. |

| At the Drive-In – One Armed Scissor Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I think it's either about abortion or cutting yourself, or the combination of the two. The first few lines of the song seem to lean towards abortion, the rest of it seems to be about self-destructive behavior (i.e., cutting one's self)... Either that or it could be absolute gibberish. |

| Buckcherry – Cream Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| OK, I love this song and the entire "Black Butterfly" album...But what the fuck was Josh Todd thinking when he wrote "cream on me..." Honestly...Worst opening line in recent rock history. | |
| Shinedown – If You Only Knew Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| There's no way this song is about his son...Unless, he has a bad relationship with him ("I still have the letters you returned?"). I'm pretty sure it's just a straight-up love/loss song. | |
| Disturbed – Inside the Fire Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| The lyrics to this song are SOOOO poorly written. Rhyming Devin with Heaven and Awaken with Forsaken. C'mon! The subject matter of the song is sad, granted, but the lyrics are laughable. And the way David Draiman sings them just makes it worse. I love Disturbed, but wow...This song is catchy, but that's about it. | |
| Scott Weiland – Mockingbird Girl Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Ya know? Weiland's lyrics on this ENTIRE album are vague as hell... I can't explain the chorus part, but in the verses it seems to detail (something along the lines of) a guy who is totally completely obsessed with a girl ("she flies without no feathers." Angel?) and he knows there's no point in pursuing her ("a fool to try and catch her."). And how he'd do anything for her ("She'll kill you once, you won't mind...You'll ask for twice.") The 2nd verse sounds like he'd rather just lie with her and watch her sleep than have sex with her (No sex...I'm bored with anticipation) and than ("I guess you'll sleep, I'll count shepp. And watch your dream) ...There's my interpretation anyway. |

| Extreme – More Than Words Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Lol. This girl told me (via text message) the other day, "I love you." I don't like her that much, so I replied: "What would you say, if I took those words away?" |
