But now all his senses are getting clear to him. "Thinking all day long honey what went wrong?", he have no idea why he felt like he felt, and it hadn't anything with the girl to do. |

I think this song is about a relationship with a girl who just think about herself. "It's the fame that holds you in vain, but in your letter it's playing your game" maybe means that she knows that she's popular, rich and hot, and thinks that she can do whatever she wants to anybody. And in this case she's just playing with his feelings. "and I got a bird, here in my ear, telling me stories all made by fears": He starts to realize what she's doing to him, and thinks she's doing it because she's afraid to lose her power. "when you get old, just pray": When the time goes by, more and more people will realize that she's just an idiot, and she will lose all friends she ever had. Just pray to keep 'em. "The last time infected me so good": He feels infected by her lies and falsity. And now that he has busted her, he's kinda ironic by sayng, "oh you infected me soo good! fuck yourself." His feelings for everything are blunt and he can't see no reason to live without this girl. That's why he doesn't fear life 'cause he wouldn't care if he died and all he wants is to make her see how he's suffering and make her take him back. | |
