Im not a major mudhoney fan so i'm not sure about their writing style, but everytime i hear this song all I can think is that the song is about common knowledge through a typical education from the standpoint of a dropout. "I don't want what anyone can have" "You got it" "You can keep it That's right I don't want it" "Keep it outta my face" "Just cause you got it You think everyone wants you" Just to me seems like someone telling a dropout to go back to school and they just rip into the person in response.Eh my 2 cents. |
