song meaning: He keeps calling his girlfriend, but she wont answer and he wonders why. He goes over to her apartment fearing she may be sick, but upon arrival, overhears her with another guy. then he realizes that he'd prefer her cheating on him to her being sick, because he knows 1. she'll still be with him 2. he will probably do the same 3. she's okay, and atleast he knows what she's actually doing. and then he says as long as she stays with him he'll be fine. then apparently he takes a vacation; kindve random. i could be wrong, but thats just my interpretation. i reaaallllyyyyy love this song; the line "faith is a way to believe in the lies that we need, so to be faithful is to be truthless" is so amazingly written. so true. and it's definantly breaths. |
