The way he pays all the bills makes me think he's more of a literal father rather than a play on words. No one, including someone like a priest, is going to pay bills, unless they had a kid out of wedlock, and won't be there to directly support them. |

It's a beautiful story. The epitome of a southern/redneck family. The brothers spend most of their time drinking. Yes it happens, even at a really young age. I know most of you haven't, but its nice to be able to get shitfaced with no hangover. The priest was the father of at least one of the kids, and probably was a priest back then, considering the guilt expressed now by him paying all the bills. The poor mother was the victim of all her boyfriend's rage, and that's why she didn't take a stand against anything - she knew her boyfriend would retaliate against her involvement, and in reality she probably wanted out of such a twisted relationship. Now the boyfriend... he obviously had mental and drinking issues. Probably is a felon, seeing as how he didn't own a gun. I love the blue tattoos line, meaning he was abused when he was younger. He is also the milkman. |
