I believe this song is about Spencer's recent addiction to drugs and how through God he can overcome the challenge of staying free from drugs. I believe that "This is not your escape" sort of says that the drugs are not a way to escape from the troubles of life. I believe that his addictions inspired him to write this piece, but it may not be about his addiction. |
