I like the Holden Caulfield-esque irony presented in this song: "Nobody likes you, except for the losers" But whether he's talking to the girl or the guy makes it more or less ironic. And I don't think you've listened to a lot of the songs that weezer have recorded, because this is not the worst. |

| It's not the beginning of this song that sounds like robots going at it, it's the end of the song before it. | |

"Like a snake went by through a cable flesh" I think this is supposed to be "Like a snake would bite through a cave of flesh" it adds to the euphemisms and the imagery of "[cutting] through his bed" |

| the correct lyrics are "you look bodacious/in that guillotine" and then after "when we're quarantined and squirreled away/'cause one on one with you it's like booted outlaws on the run" and "I'm the bratwurst in your bun" other than those I can't help | |

| Man Man – Rabbit Habits Lyrics | 17 years ago |

She likes destruction, he has either been destroyed or has destroyed something, i.e."she wants to live to eat, he wants to eat to live" He can't taste food anymore but he still wants to eat to live, he can't get satisfaction from anything anymore, but he still wants to carry on. Your eyes shine like Oppenheimer's is a reference to her affection for destruction or power, yet "she don't want to die alone" possibly for a reason other than company, maybe she needs someone to exert power over, he on the other hand, is just so downtrodden that he needs someone to keep him company so he does have something to live for. In short, it's about two polar opposites coming together and making it work, however fragile the man is and however power-hungry the woman is. Maybe, it is a little bit of a stretch. |
