The numerous ramblings about the relation between Conor Oberst and this song need to be put a side for a while, because whether or not this song is about him doesn't change the fact that it's pure brilliance. Neely sings it with sincerity, and I think anyone who has dealt with the endings of relationships can relate. Every one of you should buy their new CD on June 17th. I'm talking the long summer-of-07-iPhone-lines that move 10 meters an hour. |

I'll be honest - when I first heard Beat Control, I was sure we'd lost Tilly as we once knew them. But, hey, I can support bands trying out new sounds and such. But this is the Tilly we all know and love, and I'm certainly glad to have them back. PS I think it's "my" two stiff fingers. |
