this song reminds me of my old friend, who said it reminded him of me and my ex. i didn't know what i wanted, and he didn't know what he wanted, but in the end, we'd always end up being together. |

i love love love this line:
"One mistake could be the last action that you make.
Now I'm on m knees, I can feel my spirit leaving me."
for some reason, it just speaks to me. i really love this song, good mix of screamo and singing. |

favorite line: "don't waste your time on me"
i can relate soo much, i feel so inadequate half the time compared to everyone else, and i feel like i don't match up to my boyfriend's potential, nor my ex's, who i'm still in love with.
anyway, enough sob story, back to the song.
i love the "i've never told a lie, and that makes me a liar" part, so strong. |

this song is pure genius.. so raw, so pure, so heartfelt. i can't believe the genius these guys have, the power and the sentiment, to put such an emotional song out there for everyone to listen to.
i love the guitar, and the vocals are fantastic. |

this song basically speaks to me more than any other song, ever. i love how pure and raw the feeling is. and the piano at the beginning is so prettily haunting that i almost cry every time i hear it. |

i know that the lead singer is a heroin addict, grindcorexlove, so your coke analogy is probably right
the beginning owns me though.. |

i'm not really sure what it's about. the line, "There's blood on my hands and it's something I cannot forget" makes me think that he possibly killed her, maybe in a car crash because it's talking about crashing a car through a window.
idk, that's my take on it: either way, ETF is the BESTT BAND EVERR. |

definitely about a girl who gets preggos by the narrator, and her family disowns her, but the guy still loves her and supports her as she gets an abortion. |

LOL nice onee, jmenz.
a very pretty, straightforward love song, about a guy not feeling adequate enough for his lover.
very pretty, yet somewhat boring. |

it shows a sensitive side that i didn't know they had it in them... i mean, i knew that they were sensitive, but not this sentimental, if you catch my drift. the pain you hear in bert's voice when you hear him screaming in agony... it reaches a part of me, inside, that i've tucked away. i think everyone has that part inside, that they just don't touch at all, and this song touches mine.
bravo, guys. excellent song. |

i think it's about a guy learning to trust a girl after a lifetime of heartbreak, and he bears this weight on him. he's not sure if he should trust her, or if she'll be okay with his baggage. |

this song has an excellent guitar riff, and the use of drums is fantastic (but what else is new for the used--best band EVERR). |

i disagree, outkast... i think that he didn't sell out at all!.. people change and as they change, they grow, or vice versa. and i don't think anyone is looking too far into their songs, because if someone draws something out of the song that relates to them, then the artist has succeeded. |

i personally think it's about abortion (or at least, that's what it translates to for me). especially with the fingernal phase lyric, i think it's told from a baby's point of view. |

i think it's about drugs... because, after all, drugs are an abusive relationship in themselves; as a victim of an addition myself (not to drugs, alcohol, or sex, however), i know exactly how the narrator feels, it feels like the world is changing and crashing around you and there's nothing you can do about it.
fantastically written, good job vanessa! |
