I could see how he might be referencing Chicago as well as a girl here. He mentions "bars for miles" and the wind, both are things Chicago can be known for. maybe its a girl from Chicago? I love the line about suicide. What a great perspective. This song is about post-breakup, when you just want to forget. But you can't, and it doesn't make sense. Its a horrible feeling, and a beautiful song. |

"its painful when you realize your lives are intertwined" I love this song and especially this line... how true is that? Is it not the most painful experience of all to realize that you love someone--your life is their life, your lives are the same life--and you really can't walk away, even if you want to? |
