Agreed, it is a little too early to really give this a good prodding. First things I noticed from this song (I am a synesthete, so this part is subjective) are the colours and the mood. I feel lots of organic colours in this song, lots of brown and green throughout, green more-so near the end. Setting feels secluded like a cabin... :/ What is obvious is the recurring flower theme. I also feel that the first eight lines of this song (this is how I feel) are hinting towards some type of sleeping disorder, sleep paralysis namely. |

I think the lyric is "Now you wanna show me how you hate the sight of me 'oh why?' And I think this song is about a relationship that had something terrible happen in it, but the two people tried to get passed it and stay together, though there are only negative feelings from one of said people to the other. There is nothing to talk about because it is an old badly worn relationship. I think those two things because of the lines 'burned out, still glowing, but im not worth knowing' and 'Washed out small talk, that's all I can do To interact with you Because no word of kindness Puts the whole thing behind us.' |
