| Bad Religion – A World Without Melody Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| This is one of Bad Religion's most eloquent lyrics and this song is suprisingly underrated. I agree it is partly about the power of music, but music is only a metaphor for its greater meaning. To me the song is about listening to your own heart, or inner "music", marching to the beat of your own drum, instead of being overcome by unfulfilling demands of society. Also, comparying "harmony" with community is brilliant. Musical harmony makes for pleasing listening, while harmony among individuals, despite their differences in race, religion, etc., makes for a more ideal place to live. | |
