I've come to believe that his love has passed. She's been dead for "two long days" and he's been drinking away his pain. He's really missing her and has been falling apart ("coming unglued"). He knows that by that "ray of sunshine" (sunshine meaning that she is up in heaven looking down) she will always be there but that isn't good enough and he feels like he's in hell without her. He's saying he will always be hers. Idk, thats all i can pull from it. I dont get the "And there’s the window that I deny" part but thats one of my favorite parts in the song. Any one else know? |
