From First to Last – Everything's Perfect Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I love this song. I had the same idea about this song as CallTheAngels. Also, I think "Your mind is a blanket lie" is actually "Your mind is a vacant lot" at least that's how it sounds to me. |
Hollywood Undead – This Love, This Hate Lyrics | 15 years ago |

Bloodhound Gang – Farting With A Walkman On Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Straight from Jimmy on the NerdCity forums: - "Farting With A Walkman On" was meant to have two meanings throughout the lyrics: I know you're gonna play me A. You're going to listen to my song B. You're going to lie to me when you get wind A. When you fart B. When you hear through the grapevine I heard you're full of shit A. Your fart makes it apparent that you need to take a shit B. Someone told me that you've been lying to me so I've been duped again A. You were able to convince me yet again that you weren't lying B. The vocals are the same for all three verses But if you cover your ass A. Trying to cover up the sound of your fart B. Attempting to avoid being blamed for something with the same old song A. The vocals are the same for all three verses B. You're always using the same excuses You might as well be farting farting with a Walkman on The final line was meant to explain that I know I'm being lied to using a metaphor that sums up the rest of the lyrics when they're taken literally. Give me a fuckin' break A. Affirmation that I know you're lying. B. The guitar solo is a musical break in the middle of the song |
Bloodhound Gang – Bonus Track Lyrics | 16 years ago |
MrsPop, I would love you if you did that. I heard it and I could understand only about half of it. It was so funny though. I love where she mentions his hairy chest XD |
Within Temptation – Forgiven Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I take the song as a child who died, and it sounds like the mother's singing it (as Deaths final love said). I take the "you couldn’t face the freedom on your own" as the child was young and never got to experience the world's freedom on their own. For some reason, I think of someone with cancer when I hear this ("You gave up the fight") meaning they didn't want to keep going on fighting it and just gave up and accepted death. Kinda depressing, but it's such a beautiful song. |
Bloodhound Gang – She Ain't Got No Legs Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I read in an interview with Lupus that this song was written about Jimmy's love for a girl who was in a wheelchair. it's fucking amazing. haha. |
