kinda surprised no one has commented on this...but anyways: To me, it's about a girl (maybe late teens early twenties) who's going through a very tough time in her life, and is wondering why things are going so bad. Then, "suddenly" she realizes that everything she's going through or has gone through wasn't for nothing and there was truly a reason for it. i dunno, that's my take on it |

To me, it can be interpreted in two ways. The first could be about a boyfriend. It seems like they promised to be "together forever" and that didn't happen. But...it sounds like she's happy with that and will even let him know how she's doing from time to time. The second way I just thought of a few minutes ago. I got into a fight with my ex best friend. And this song just reminds me of her. I'm not upset that she's not in my life anymore, but if she still cares I'll let her know how I'm doing every once in a while. But...yeah. That's just my personal interpretation of the song |
