Innocent question, In what gender do yo think when reading the words "fucker" or "bastard" "homo"? For me the answer is male. Language is a sword,the wielder defines the way is used. Emotion has to sometimes be expressed with rude words, sometimes language isn't even capable of equaling the strenght of emotion and feelings. |

Ok....LOL.... after all those messages of Voltaire's fans that have met him in person, I can say I got in trouble XD.... as I said sometimes we don't have to over interpret.... yet It was a good allegory... X3 ...... Come you up to think that anything can be over interpreted... a muddy rag or a strangely shaped rock.... even a song... And yeah... Voltaire's songs are mostly blunt and direct to the point....that's true..... I'll try my hardest to ask him in person whenever he returns to Mexico... just to settle my mind in peace.... Hi there! Don't take it personal... But there are subtle differences between Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy and the other Christian currents (and no it's not that any of them claim themselves to be the "real ones") One of them is that the first 2 redeem free will and grace. But if anybody believes in an omni-potent god how is possible that he (god) doesn't knows nor can control humans fates?... That's called determinism and it's a well discussed topic but not only theologically but scientifically seriously it's hard to tell if every thing happens for an intricate set of "rules" or it just happens to be.... free will may be just an illusion we create ourselves to don't go crazy...... Really to think that you don't really got free will of "deciding" it's spooky..... Omni-potent means "all powerfull".... so yes, Christians, Catholics and other religions, do think everything happens because of God's will...(so that's when free will enters in conflict.. no one wants to be that "controlled") some even state that salvation it's predestinated: no matter what, those damned to hell cannot avoid their fate..... Will an artist like Voltaire write something as random as just a freaking neighbors story? (Well perhaps....) No, seriously Voltaire's style is being humorous in a sarcastic way not that of a silly nonsense random simple way..... it does have another sense that just the literal one.... Would you make a song of something ordinary without giving it an non-ordinary meaning?? It would be pretty boring... But we don't have to forget that over-interpretation should be avoided. Well for the last you should check the Lyrics for Dead (by Voltaire of course)..... (Recently uploaded) That it's almost the same message BUT MORE DIRECT.... ^_^ .... so I reinforce my belief that he was reffering to free will and god's omnipotence.... and not just bad neighbors.... Well this is my interpretation by paragraph ...feedback it's appreciated The first paragraph is describing that feeling of being powerful enough to reach ones desires and goals, and how time just seems to be stopped with this feeling... Being aware of yourself (embracing all myself I reel) is what gives you the strength to surpass the obstacles and difficulties... Then again the same feeling of invinsibility... The butterflies are a remembrance of human frailty Our principal frailty it's the limited time we got....mortality If you were to got the power of time (eternal life) it's most probably you'll do whatever you want.... but how is that possible? Maybe, again, it's just that feeling of time freezing when extreme happiness is reached.... Don't you love when feeling like this..... I have been feeling this lately.... life seems so eternal in that state.... |

The description of a world perfect without lies, without people that lie, that mainly seems impossible, but it would be truly awesome. +stares and sighs to the stars+ Less is more - There are too many people in this world that is wasting their life and screwing others, wouldn't it be better if they die?, normally people would say no but in the deep want to say yes. Criminals, murderers, some government liars... LOL..... Wouldn't the world be better without all that $H/T??? Silence is golden in this masked world - In this society is hard to find persons that are with other as they are with themselves, even with our closest friends we tend to put on masks... that are in someway lies.... silence is better than any lie.... Anyway, hope the lyric arrangement is understandable... Comment!!! Macbeth is such a great band for having almost no comments.... There goes a question of my own... if anyone can answer.... ...well I almost agree with both of the last posters... I think this songs main them is the conscience in each of us, trying to be always a better self, but at some cost that can be sometimes dangerous, and that we may be lazy for doing what we want/should do... most of the time people do their daily activities without thinking what they are really doing and most important ..for what...but when anybody come to think of it carefully, it might think of a way to improve his/her life, but that doesn't always means it's going to happen... How many time has anybody planned something and didn't do it???? ¬¬ Just consider me your friend => Some people don't really like to question reality, using their brains... brain is an enemy of the mass society. Well I think it's obvious that this song talks about how love relationships may be or not important to a person, how does people manage their relation ships as something trivial, without thinking that they may be hurting a person, for a whole life.... Anyway, Does anyone knows what does Voltaire say after saying "Welcome to the world...." at the end?, It's in Spanish, and i cannot even understand it... (I'm mexican)... I get some words, but seem senseless, it's more or less like this "two, three, four, to the inside, to the outside, to the left, to the right,........ to right....... to the left........... ...misters..." Yeah I also think it's about god and devil comparisons, mainly god, the man upstairs... (The followings are my opinions, what i get from this song and how I interpret it) All day long he sleeps all day, its because "god" the personified being doesn't do apparently anything he doesn't comes down and tries to help anybody, you can't see it....Juggling bowling balls means that he has hard, heavy problems to solve, but he's not good at solving them...... I thinks that he's "room" is in some cloudy place up there, so he needs to vacuum... =P The guy downstairs would be satan the fallen angel, the institute was heaven, and obviously he hates the Virgin Mary and Jesus "but it's the man upstairs who pulls the strings, won't let me sleep please, kill that man upstairs" Christians state that all that happens in this universe is ruled by god, not even a single atom would move in a missed direction if it was not god's intention, so god rules in someway all our lives, BUT christians think that we all have the right of free thinking. In any case every person should be freaked out if all it's controlled and predetermined, leading to anxiety and lack of sleep, the worst would be suicide, why wouldn't anybody wish to stop that control over our lives? Well for now it's all..got to get some sleep.... hope somebody comment here soon..... I'll be sending corrections to the songs I know... most of the songs uploaded are wrong in some words...
