I don't really like rap at all, really, and the reason why I love this song is because of it's lyrics. Any other lyrics, and I'd see it just as another song. But the lyrics to it are beautiful. I believe it is much more of a song about friendship rather than love/romance. "May be in magazines But you'll still be my star Baby cause in the dark You can't see shiny cars And that's when you need me there With you I'll always share " Right there she seems to be implying that even though she's a celebrity and everything, it won't interfere with her friendships. |
