I always thought this song was about an older man falling for a younger girl... And when he says "Rest my chemistry" he's going to give their relationship a rest, meaning the chemistry they share together shouldn't be, since she's so young. [1]I see a sign, it says “okay” [2]Gotta take a ride, just recline in the faraway [3]Got to take some time to realize [4]That my friends they come [5]And the lines they go by [1] - The young girl is saying "okay", but does she mean yes? Also a reference to the "three kinds of yes" . He's not sure if she's even sure about what they're doing.
